INVICTUS

I am master of my fate, I am captain of my soul (from a poem by William Ernest Hendley)
There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul ( quote by Ella Wheeler Wilcox)

Early in 2016........ (updated)

This is my first post for 2016 and is going to be a very short post.

2016 is here with all its depressing forecasts for Malaysia. Sober, worrying, pessimistic and gloomy. But then, let us not forget, above all, we shouldn't feel so worried about our economic situation in 2016. Our leaders have already given us some very good advice. I have written below the splendid super-excellent tips. My heart is bursting (with either pride, or, excuse me, puke) that there are many of our "brainy" leaders who empathised with us and are still connected with the feelings of the rakyat at this difficult time. We Malaysians are indeed very lucky. A huge focus of the world is on Malaysia now, because we have such excellent leaders and indeed very very brilliant politicians. So impressed were some people that they donated billions of RM to our top leader. It is seldom, almost never heard of, that a leader received such a huge amount of money as donation. But then, why not? They are towering personalities, aren't they?

Here's the superb list:
- not to eat chicken if chicken is expensive
- to eat more kangkung, since kangkung's price had gone down
- to get two or more jobs
- to wake up early to be able to use non-tolled roads
- to use second-hand goods
- to stop worrying about our currency depreciating, because it already attracted many many more tourists to Malaysia
- if you have no money for food, don't worry, the PM says he is organising some soup kitchens
- if any female gets raped, God forbids, there is a simple solution, the rapist can marry the victim
- to combat rising prices of food, civil servants can cook at the office
- in this trying time, where a big majority of Malaysians are struggling to make ends meet, we must not forget to discuss about the slits in our air-hostesses' sarongs!
